Pilchuck is more than just a school; it's an unparalleled experience. Renowned as one of the world's premier glass schools, it provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with some of the finest glass blowers and artists globally.
During my time there, I embarked on the creation of lenses from scratch, intending to serve as 'lens extenders' for crafting specific moody images. With the collaboration of my assistant and skilled glass blowers, we successfully crafted nearly 20 different types of lenses for experimentation and learning. I eagerly anticipate incorporating these lenses into future film projects to explore how they enhance the visual dynamics of moving imagery.
