During the peak of the pandemic, remote shoots became the norm, and I was fortunate to be a part of this photographic moment.
Robb Ogle, Art Director at Architect Magazine, reached out to me after noticing how my work "artfully obscures portraits, whether by crop, focus, light, etc." He commissioned me to take remote portraits of the fellows in the National Organization of Minority Architects Fellowship program. These portraits aim to not only capture the individuals but also convey the technical limitations they are working under and the unique spaces shaping their entry into the professional world.
Thank you to the fellows for collaborating on exploring this style of photography with me. I wish each of you all the best in your future endeavors.
